Hamid L. Sadri, DC, ART, CCSP, ICSSD, CSCS, CKTP, CES, PES


Dr. Sadri is a 1986 graduate of Life University, School of Chiropractic, and attended Kennesaw State University and University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies. While completing his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic, he was recognized for academic excellence, receiving the prestigious National Dean's List Award as well as other certificates of recognition in clinical advancement including the Junior X-Ray Intern Award, the Senior Clinic Assistant Award, and the Clinical and X-ray Competency Awards. He is a Board Certified chiropractor and a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has held licenses in Florida, South Carolina and Georgia. He has been in active practice, serving the Metropolitan Atlanta area for the past 22 years. He has had extensive post-graduate training in various subjects, including Radiology, Outcome Assessment of Personal Injury Cases, Whiplash Case Management, Risk Management, Scoliosis Management, Exercise Physiology, Physiological Therapeutics, Management and Rehabilitation of Acute and Chronic Cases, Nutritional Testing, Thermographic Studies, Acupuncture, Sports Injuries & Chiropractic, and many other subject matters.

Throughout his years of schooling he was always passionate about sports. While a high school junior, he was a varsity starter for the Newark High School Yellow Jackets' soccer team where he went on to win the State's Best Defensive Player award. After moving to Atlanta in 1980 to pursue his studies, he joined the Atlanta Amateur Soccer League; starting in third division and concluding his career in the first division while playing with Aras, one of the top 3 teams in that division at the time. He then moved on to pursue active full-time practice, but for several years continued to coach soccer for the local YMCA. His involvement with athletics and sports has continued over the years as he currently supports and sponsors several of the local athletic teams and events including Georgia Multisports Productions, Tri-The Parks Triathlon series, The Atlanta ING marathon (member of the medical team), the annual Strong Legs race, Get-Fit Atlanta, BTB Fitness, Atlanta chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and some of the local little league teams.

He has been an active member in the Atlanta community and has been a guest lecturer for many organizations, including Emory University School of Medicine. He has conducted numerous workshops for local corporations and athletic clubs on injury prevention, work place ergonomics, and proper posture and body mechanics; and continues to provide these workshops free of charge to the local groups and companies. He was one of the treating doctors at the 2005 Florida Ironman competition and one of the 2008 Georgia ING Marathon and Half Marathon Medical Team members. In addition, he was one of the five doctors selected from the USA to be part of the Treating Doctors at the World Games 2009 in Taiwan. He was also a treating doctor at the 2009 Judo Masters World Championships in Atlanta.

In his years of practice, he has successfully treated thousands of patients with acute and chronic conditions ranging from automobile, work and sports related injuries, to arthritis, sciatica, spinal disc herniations, scoliosis, headaches and migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis and many other neuro-musculo-skeletal related conditions. He, over the years, has treated athletes of all calibers, from Olympian gold medal winners, NCAA, SEC, professional and elite athletes to the weekend warriors and recreational athlete as well as professional dancers and musicians. He has been deposed and has testified as an Expert Witness on numerous occasions involving injuries and treatments related to automobile accidents.

He is a member in good standing with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA), the American Chiropractic Association's Council on Sports Injury & Fitness, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the United States Sports Chiropractic Federation (USSCF). He is also an extended faculty member of Life University School of Chiropractic.

He was recognized in the 1994 Who's Who in Georgia and selected for Who's Who National Registry in 2000. He was selected as one of America's Top Chiropractors by the 2006 Consumer's Research Council.


Niklaus A. DelFavero, BS, DC, ART, CSCS, CES


Dr. DelFavero, a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, is a Board Certified chiropractor and a Full Body Certified Provider in the Active Release Techniques (ART). He is also certified as a Strength and Conditioniong Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

A native of upstate New York, Dr. DelFavero ventured to Texas for undergraduate study at Rice University in Houston, where he was a valuable asset to the men's NCAA swim team. Dr. DelFavero has a life long love of sports and fitness and has competed and won several gold medals throughout the world in swimming, as well as being a member of the Austrian National Swim Team. His passion for athletics motivated him to enter the field of chiropractic where he continues to use his knowledge and charisma to help others. His drive to succeed has helped him master many techniques in rehabilitation, manipulation, and muscle strengthening. He began his career practicing in Texas while his wife was finishing Medical School at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

While in Texas, he specialized in work related injuries, trauma, pre-surgical intervention, and post-surgical rehabilitation.As time passed, Dr. DelFavero's practice evolved from treating mostly workers compensation and personal injury cases to putting a strong emphasis on sports injury prevention and correction.He has had the pleasure of treating many of the male and female National Rugby players as well as other semi-pro and professional golfers, swimmers, marathon runners and Tri-Athletes.

Dr. DelFavero has spoken at Grand to the medical interns and residents at Emory University, School of Medicine on topics of chiropractic and effective treatment options such as Active Release Techniques in dealing with soft tissue conditions.He also provides sports injury clinics and lectures to many of the local athletic groups in the community. Dr. DelFavero volunteers his time as head coach of a Masters swim program at Mercer University.He provides private and group stroke analysis clinics to help athletes achieve maximal stroke efficiency as well as prevent biomechanical dysfunction. In addition to the speaking engagments, Dr. DelFavero has worked as one of the treating doctors for many events which include, the 2009 Judo Masters World Championships in Atlanta, and the Ford Ironman Triathlon in November 2009.


Stephen LaScala, DC, ART

Dr. LaScala completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life university in 1998 and during his studies there, he was awarded the Clinical Competency and X-ray Competency awards. He is a certified Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) provider and instructor. He also holds a Diplomate status with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Dr. LaScala currently works with professional cyclists, triathletes, golfers, and Olympians, as well as weekend warriors. He was chosen as one of the treating doctors for the 2002 Ironman World Championship held annually in Hawaii. As a past competitive bodybuilder, and a current triathlete, he has gained extensive knowledge of strength conditioning, which he routinely incorporates into his patients' care plans. He has had extensive experience with professional athletes and athletic related injuries. he combines his expertise as a Certified Personal Trainer with A.R.T. and human anatomy in order to aid his patients in their rehabilitation and recovery from their injuries.


James Heinz, DC, ART

Dr. Jim Heinz grew up in North Carolina and began a love of tennis in 1971. He began his undergraduate studies at Lees McRae College where he was a varsity tennis player and avid snow skier. After transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he continued pre-med studies and holds a BS in liberal sciences.

For over 25 years, Dr. Heinz has been an active part of the healthcare community throughout the Southeast. He has trained ER physicians in specific injury management techniques, introduced new orthopedic technology to medical doctors for use in their offices, and taught classes as part of ongoing hospital educational programs. In addition, he has worked as a physician recruiter to bring healthcare to underserved areas of the country. He has interviewed, trained or assisted hundreds of physicians around the United States.

Following a skiing accident, his frustrations with the traditional medical care he received led to his first chiropractic treatment. It was an experience that led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In 1991 he entered Life University; by 1993 he was elected president of the Life College Academic Fraternity. Upon graduating in 1994, he began his practice.

Dr. Heinz remains active in several Atlanta tennis leagues including USTA and ALTA. Over time, his passion for tennis evolved to include the treatment of tennis and other sports injuries as well as programs to prevent injuries in a number of sports. He is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a specialized soft tissue treatment for acute or chronic conditions.

Jennifer Vogel, LMT

Jennifer Vogel is a Georgia licensed Massage Therapist and is certified in Neuromuscular therapy and sports massage from Academy of Somatic Healing Arts and Thai Massage from the Thai institute.


Jennifer is no stranger to the rigors of an intense training schedule , having spent the past 6 years competing in marathons, ultra running events, and Ironman triathlons, which taught her the importance of a skilled massage therapist as part of a well rounded athletic training program. Passionate about increasing athletic performance, Jennifer provides services that fuse eastern and western bodywork modalities to help an athlete recover quicker, preform better and reduce the risk of injury. While training this year for Marathon de Sables , a 150 mile stage race through the Sahara desert, Jennifer began using Thai massage as part of her recovery program with great results. This encouraged Jennifer to incorporate this ancient form of bodywork in to her practice.
